Scope of project: The project was to widen Runway 6/24 which included over 40,000 CY of excavation, 17,000 LF of underdrain, 90,000 tons of aggregate subbase, and 19,000 tons of asphalt. The subbase and underdrain were installed nightly to all excavations to be able to safely accommodate air traffic during the day. The project also included three large drainage detentions beds.

The schedule required working 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.
