Golden Triangle seeks qualified candidates for the 2026 construction season in the following positions:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience with an interest in a career in the construction industry.
Project Manager:
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of heavy highway construction projects.
• Manage Project engineers, Superintendents and Foreman and ensure effective coordination throughout the team.
• Manage change orders and ensure projects stay within scope and budget.
• Execute the project Safety Plan to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with project owners (government agencies, inspection staff)
• Manage and lead project engineers, jobsite crews, and subcontractors.
• Address and resolve jobsite issues, including contract administration, union labor, material delivery, etc.
• Forecast project budgets and monitor financial performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing Heavy Highway construction projects.
• Proficiency with CAD and P6 scheduling software is preferred.
• Experience working on Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), PA Turnpike or other DOT Owners preferred.

Project Engineer:
Project Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist project manager with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of heavy highway construction projects.
• Participate in jobsite and coordination meetings to ensure effective communication and progress.
• Track items of work and change orders to ensure projects stay within scope and budget.
• Assist with schedule and coordinate with foreman and field personnel with daily schedules including materials, subcontractors, equipment, quality control, etc.
• Execute the project Safety Plan to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with project owners (government agencies, inspection staff)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Proficiency with CAD preferred.
• Experience with P6 scheduling software a plus.
• Minimum of three years of project experience in heavy civil construction.
• Takes pride in their work, maintains a strong work ethic, and is willing to learn.

Concrete Field Technician:
Responsibilities Include:
• Oversight of all concrete quality control for the assigned project, including but not limited to all plastic and hardened concrete testing.
• Logging all quality control data for the project.
• Communication of test results with the plant to keep the mixture within the specified limits.
• Communication with the foreman on site on quality control results and mixture behavior.
• Maintaining a great working knowledge of concrete testing and concrete specifications specific to the project.
• Maintaining a thorough understanding and familiarity with project quality control plans.
Qualifications:
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Must have ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 Certification
• Must have PennDOT NECEPT Concrete Technician Certification or must be able to earn the certification within a month of being hired.
• Ideally has a solid working knowledge of PennDOT, PTC, FAA and USACE concrete specifications.
• Ability to interpret project plans and specifications.
• Physical ability to perform field testing (frequently lift up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed with additional compensation
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather in a busy construction environment.
• Ability to perform all work in a safe and responsible manner.
Concrete Plant Technician:
Responsibilities Include:
• Oversight of all quality control for the plant, including but not limited to all concrete and aggregate testing required.
• Logging all quality control data for the plant, including managing the PennDOT plant book.
• Making adjustments to concrete mixes to match the field application and keep the mixture within specification limits.
• Communication with the jobsite contact to confirm that the mix is performing adequately for the element being placed.
• Communication with the job site contact on trucking coordination.
• Coordination of all raw material orders for the plant. Coordinate with projects daily to forecast future material needs.
• Maintaining a great working knowledge of concrete mix proportioning, concrete testing, concrete specifications specific to the project.
• Maintaining a thorough understanding and familiarity with quality control plans for each project and all mix designs for the plant.
Qualifications:
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Must have ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 Certification
• Preferred Certifications (Must be able to earn them within 2 months of being hired)
o PennDOT NECEPT Concrete Technician Certification
o PennDOT Concrete Plant Technician Certification
o ACI Laboratory 1 Certification (Strength and Aggregate)
• Ideally has worked as a concrete plant technician previously.
• Ideally has a solid working knowledge of PennDOT, PTC, FAA and USACE concrete specifications.

Heavy Highway Construction Foreman:
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and direct construction crews with heavy/highway construction work.
• Looking for experience with concrete construction and/or drainage installation on heavy highway construction projects. Earthwork and grading experience a plus.
• Ensure work is completed with safety, quality, and production at the forefront.
• Coordinate daily activities, production goals, and schedule with the superintendent.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Ensure company safety policies and procedures which often exceed OSHA requirements.
• Maintain daily reports, timecards, and job site documentation.
• Act a working Foreman when required.
Qualifications:
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Member of Union or be willing to join a union.
• 5+ Years of experience in heavy highway construction.
• Ability to interpret project plans and specifications.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed with additional compensation.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather in a busy construction environment.
• Ability to perform all work in a safe and responsible manner.
• OSHA 10 is required, OSHA 30 a plus.
• Healthcare and pension according to union agreements.
Concrete Paving Operator/Mechanic:
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate concrete paving equipment including slipform pavers, texture cure machines, curb machines, and other related support equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on paving equipment. This includes changing paving molds, diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. Work with supervisor and company shop staff to ensure equipment is repaired and operational in a timely manner.
• Ensure equipment is operating safely with quality and production at the forefront.
• Coordinate daily activities, production, and schedules with supervisor, project managers, superintendents, and foremen to ensure productivity and quality are maintained.
• Ensure all company safety policies are followed.
Qualifications:
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license with CDL a plus.
• 2+ Years of experience in concrete paving.
• Member of Operators Union or willing to join union.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed with additional compensation.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather in a busy construction environment.
• Ability to perform all work in a safe and responsible manner.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Concrete Batch Plant Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Concrete Batch Plant / Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Golden Triangle Construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our portable batch plants, trucks, mixers, and other heavy machinery used in the concrete industry.
Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Selinsgrove, PA
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic problems in batch plant equipment and diesel engines.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on batch plants, generators, trucks and batch plant equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and determine the necessary repairs.
• Assist in plant tear-down/set-up efforts.
• Assist in daily plant production needs.
• Collaborate with the plant manager to schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies on the job site. – Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Stay updated on the latest batch plant/batching system updates and repair procedures.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in the concrete industry or related fields.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety standards and protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred.
Asphalt Quality Control Field Technician
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain the quality of asphalt during production.
• Communicate with the asphalt plant technician to ensure compliance with asphalt mix specifications.
• Test for compaction of asphalt with a Troxler nuclear density gauge
• Communicate with asphalt roller operators to develop proper rolling patterns to achieve specified density.
• Communicate with inspection staff to develop proper sampling lots for core locations and box sample locations.
• Taking loose box samples of newly laid asphalt
• Dilling core samples of asphalt after rolling is complete.
• Follow quality control plans.
• Maintain a company issued truck outfitted with necessary testing equipment.
Qualifications:
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Current NECEPT certification is preferred.
• Current nuclear gauge certification is preferred.
• 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• 2+ Years of experience in asphalt paving.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed with additional compensation.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather in a busy construction environment.
• Ability to perform all work in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Asphalt Screed Operator/Laborer
Key Responsibilities:
• Operating the screed of an asphalt paving machine to achieve a smooth surface of newly laid asphalt.
• Adjusting the screed for proper depth, grade, and finish of the asphalt mat.
• Performing routine maintenance on the screed to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Installing and removing screed extensions.
Qualifications:
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license.
• 2+ Years of experience in asphalt paving.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed with additional compensation
